Day 7: Birthday Month Freebies

 My Birthday is this month and all month long you will enjoy free tutorials!

Most of them are designed for the 12 days of Christmas but I'm giving away more than just 12 days.  I know some won't be as relative in your current crafting modes but you can always reference them in the future for layouts and dimensions.  This is a collaboration of lots of demonstrators.  I hope you enjoy!

DAY 7:  Candi Suriano- Watercolor Mistletoe

Mistletoe is a tradition among some households.  I remember a long time ago we used to hang a fake one in the doorway between the kitchen and the living room.  I know a few times Mom and Dad were caught sneaking a kiss under it.  I've never hung it up in my home but that doesn't stop me from stealing kisses.

I love how she used the designer series paper to stamp on and then die cut out the images.  Super simple effort with a large effect!  Another easy thing to do is add the bit of embossing in the background.  It's hard to see but the white embossing adds that subtle touch.

Of course you must finish with some embellishments to make the berries pop!
