Share It Sunday: Expressions in Ink

Happy Sunday everyone!  I hope that this 3 day weekend (in the United States at least) is allowing you to have some family time, get some odd jobs around the house, or just catch up on your creativity.  I have all of these things happening this weekend and I couldn't be happier!

This morning when my FB reminder popped up for this blog post, I wasn't going to do it.  I have been a little behind in everyday life and things (Grandpa passing away, Youngest child moving back home, Garage Sale) but I also knew that if I did this post, it would make me take the time in my craft room.  And I was up at 7am which isn't that early but I knew the rest of the household wouldn't be up yet.  So I took some me time and created this card.  Now you see two cards in the first picture, well that's because I created one card on my FB live a few weeks ago.  My brain wasn't quite awake this morning to dig right in.

The card above is my alternate to the original.  I didn't have any of the ribbon left and I was using a slightly different paper too that had a little more white to it.  So I cut out the amazing detailed leaf die and just played around with it.

The cards themselves are pretty basic but you get two different looks.   By shifting the card base color and orientation, you get a whole different card.

Check out all these amazing designs.  And put it on your wish list.  On backorder until the end of June!  Seriously though...you will want to wait and get your hands on it!

Check out all the other amazing blog hops...whom I'm sure they didn't wait until the last minute to do theirs...haha.

I am off to eat some breakfast and get out in the yard to move some lilac bushes.  Then some pool time at my sister's house.  I hope you have a great Memorial Day weekend.

NEW ANNUAL CATALOG BLOG HOP

I have been playing around so much with the preorder sets that I wanted to show you a little bit of all of them.  JUST LOVE the new catalog!!!  If you don't like one style, that's okay...cause just flip a couple pages and there's something different.

So adorable!  Easy cards and if you want you can color them here.  I used blends...they are my favorite coloring tool ya know!

The Color & Contour bundle has such AMAZING dies!  You need this in your life!  And I'm not talking about the flower you see here...I mean it's cool right... it's the other ones...so check them out!

Pansy Patch is one of those must have bundles!  Even if you don't ever stamp the actual pansy, the saying are amazing and the images in the designer series paper you can cut out with the dies...as shown here.  So simple and easy!

Geared towards the masculine side, the images that you can stamp and coordinate with the dies are amazing.  The Beauty of Friendship bundle is great and the designer series paper is set up to match in perfection.

I saw this one and I had to have it.  It reminds me of an outfit my mother had sewn for me when I was younger.  It was a full blown head to toe tie dye outfit.  And I live in it!  I think she even made me a hat.

Anyways-  I hope you enjoyed my creations and we will have more to come.
My next event is my CRAFT & STAMP SALE   Click on the link to check it out.  One DAY ONLY!

Don't forget to visit the other bloggers for awesome amazing ideas.  And let me know which card above it your favorite!  Happy Stampin' ---  Elizabeth
