Happy Sunday everyone! I hope that this 3 day weekend (in the United States at least) is allowing you to have some family time, get some odd jobs around the house, or just catch up on your creativity. I have all of these things happening this weekend and I couldn't be happier!
This morning when my FB reminder popped up for this blog post, I wasn't going to do it. I have been a little behind in everyday life and things (Grandpa passing away, Youngest child moving back home, Garage Sale) but I also knew that if I did this post, it would make me take the time in my craft room. And I was up at 7am which isn't that early but I knew the rest of the household wouldn't be up yet. So I took some me time and created this card. Now you see two cards in the first picture, well that's because I created one card on my FB live a few weeks ago. My brain wasn't quite awake this morning to dig right in.
The card above is my alternate to the original. I didn't have any of the ribbon left and I was using a slightly different paper too that had a little more white to it. So I cut out the amazing detailed leaf die and just played around with it.
The cards themselves are pretty basic but you get two different looks. By shifting the card base color and orientation, you get a whole different card.
Check out all these amazing designs. And put it on your wish list. On backorder until the end of June! Seriously though...you will want to wait and get your hands on it!
Check out all the other amazing blog hops...whom I'm sure they didn't wait until the last minute to do theirs...haha.
I am off to eat some breakfast and get out in the yard to move some lilac bushes. Then some pool time at my sister's house. I hope you have a great Memorial Day weekend.
Happy Stampin' -Elizabeth
