My Frightful Wreath

Here's my version of the Frightful Wreath Simply Creative Kit.  I didn't purchase the stamp set that went along with the wreath so I did something a little different.

The kit is wonderful as it contains almost everything you need to complete this wreath.  Like I said before, they do have a stamp set that coordinates that you can purchase too.

 I just loved the hot glue that I got.  It's glittery!!!  Yes and if you know me, anything with glitter is awesome!  Too bad they only had 2 purple ones in each bag :(  But the gold, silver, green, and clear glittery ones will look awesome too.  I liked it so much that I used it across the black medallion as a background for my spider :)

 I skipped some steps here but you start with a bare foam wreath and wrap the black garland around it.  Then hot glue the web into place.  I found the easiest way was to lay the web on top of the garland and then slightly fold back the outside of the web.  I placed the hot glue on the backside of the web and then pressed down lightly.

The Tangelo Twist Satin Stripe Ribbon looks wonderful with the black and silver.  With the lines in the ribbon it draws your eyes downward too.

This is the completed wreath.  I forgot to take a picture of all the pieces for the spider before I assembled her.  The spider in the sample wreath was on the outer web but I moved it down since I changed the inside of the wreath too.  I love how it shines against the purple glitter background.
