Thank you: Share It Sunday

For today's edition of Share it Sunday, I wanted to say THANK YOU!  Seriously, peeps, I wouldn't be able to do this without you all!

This card reflects a lot of things that I love...especially giving appreciation.  Let me go over a few of the things that I "love" with this card...and Stampin' Up! in general.

Stampin' Blends:  I used these amazing coloring tools to add color to the background of the designer series paper.  True Love DSP is all black and white---so you can add whatever color you'd like.
Embossing:  I love to add texture with embossing.  Dry embossing provides added details but can be subtle too.
Color coordination:  When I decided I wanted to add a little Rococo Rose, I was able to find the amazing Metallic Ribbon.  This also allowed me to add champagne foil and rhinestones.

And of course I love it when you have an outside and inside sayings!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!  I love doing Stampin' Up! and hopefully sometime in the future, I will be able to do this full time.  As of right now, my goal is to try and earn the incentive trip.  So far this Stampin' Up! year, my progress has been amazing.  I hope to continue to inspire you and keep the momentum climbing.

Have a great day! -Elizabeth

Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop

Thank you for visiting my blog today!  Today's post features projects using and inspired by this month's Paper Pumpkin kit.  Trust me...if you don't know what paper pumpkin is...you'll want to find out.  Super awesome kit that gets mailed straight to you monthly!

The cards above are the ones that are designed for you in the kit.  Instructions for these projects are included along with almost everything you'll need...just add adhesive and a stamp block.

Below you'll see some of my ideas.  This time I tried to use mostly the kit components to create a different card.  I typically make the cards as it...so this is a challenge for me.

The card above is just slightly different than the one Stampin' Up! provided.  I used a different printed card base and label but still the same layout.  I added the Mellow Moss twine behind the saying as well.  And don't miss those awesome black self adhesive sequins.

I started by cutting the vellum background piece around the edges and only used the gold embossed pieces.  Using the stamp set from the PP, I create a background across the printed cardstock base.  I love the bold saying...and the fact that it's self adhesive too.

I did get out the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine for this one.  I wanted to add a little more textured background under the lovely gold foil "doily" that was included in the kit.

Here's a few close ups and also a picture of the inside of one of the cards.  I did utilize EVERY stamp that came in this kit too!

I hope I provided you with a little creativity.  If you're not a paper pumpkin subscriber, now is the time!  I always recommend order a subscription during Sale-A-Bration and getting some freebies.  SAB only lasts until Sunday Feb 28th!  Contact me today if you want to order the next kit.  These are only generally available if you have your order in!

Let me know if you have any questions.  Don't forget to check out the other peeps on this blog hop.
Happy Stampin'!     -Elizabeth

Hey Birthday Chick Scrapbook Pages

During a recent Facebook Live, I was discussing the new Hey Birthday Chick and Hey Chick bundles that are available.  I also was showing some recent scrap pages I created at a retreat...and the idea was sprung...a Hey Birthday Chick set of pages!  ENJOY!

First thing I did was figure out my color scheme.  I knew I wanted to use as many of the dies as possible.  I stamped and cut out all the images and then a few of the extra dies.  Also I wanted to keep a neutral background so that my images would POP!

All images were stamped in Memento black ink and then colored using Stampin' Blends primarily with a few Stampin' Write Markers.

A few tips I wanted to share:
1) I wanted to color all the Gorgeous Grape cardstock shimmery with the Wink Of Stella pen.  Since I was using a large block mat on the one side, I layed out the pictures and marked them.  Then I colored shimmer on the spaces that would show.
2)  When adhering smaller items with Tombow Multipurpose Glue, cover it with a block to keep it pressed down without getting your fingers all sticky.
3) To make you shape larger, cut it in half and then use a piece to keep them aligned.  Then I added a banner over the top of the opening.

Along the bottom of my pages, I added some dimension with a ripped bottom. This also has the chicken feet die randomly across it.  The fence and chicken coop were also cut out in the same Sahara Sand color.  Everything was given a sponged over tone on tone look to bring out the embossing.  In the background, I used a cut out piece of the chicken wire die (use a sturdy piece...like foil paper) and added sponging over the top to add depth to my background.

When you have an image that didn't quite cut out perfectly, just hide the really bad part under a picture.  Still really cute!

Check out this full two page spread.  Of course by bestie loved these pages and wanted me to create her a set as well.  I'm not sure yet.  A lot of work but for surely super duper cute.  And it's all Stampin' Up! product.  Just to show it's not just for card making.

Don't forget, if you order either the Hey Birthday Chick or Hey Chick bundle before the end of Feb 2021, you will get a FREE PDF file with projects to recreate with instructions plus bonus iteas.

I hope you enjoyed my creation!  As always, happy stampin'!
Have a great day!   -Elizabeth
