Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop

It's almost here!  My favorite time of year.  Sale-A-Bration (SAB).

During this event, which will be held twice this year, you receive awesome products for free with purchase!  Today I am focusing on this beautiful Flower & Field designer series paper (free with $50 order) and the A Touch of Ink photopolymer stamp set (free with $100 order).  

Both of the cards I designed use the same "fancy fold" base.  With the awesome colors in this dsp it was easy to add other images using those same hues.

The card base is a normal base, 4 1/4in x 11in, scored in half at 5 1/2in.  Then we add on a little extra large "mat" that has a fold at the bottom.  The folding mat is 4in x 10 1/4in and you score at 2 1/2in & 5in.  It's pretty simple and creates a lovely cascade effect.

This card is the exact same fold...but looks way different with the lovely butterfly and wildly different colors...again all from the same Flower & Field Designer Series Paper.

The images in this close up picture capture the details in the lined art while the watercolor like background creates multiple hues in one stamp.  And the stamp case shows them at 60%...so this is a huge set.
