My Ink Friends: Sale-a-bration 2020 Blog Hop

WOW! Can you believe we're already in 2020? And it's the GREATEST time of the year!!! Sale-A-Bration with Stampin' Up! For this blog hop challenge, I've used not just one SAB item but TWO!!! Each of the items I chose were free with a $50 order. I hope you enjoy :)

Alright...let's take about this amazing paper! This is the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper. This is a black, white, & grey tone paper with amazing GOLD foil designs as well! In the piece I chose, you will see the flowers are golden. In other pieces, you will see the full images are using this amazing special foil. See below!

Next I added this great stamp set. It's got a little bit of everything...plus inside and outside sayings...YES YES YES!!! The Sending You Thoughts cling mount stamp set is a perfect combination stamp set. Again...free with a $50 order.

SENDING YOU THOUGHTS CLING STAMP SET (ENGLISH)

I used the get well sentiments for my BEE card. I replaced the "be" with a BEE, that I cut out from the DSP scraps I had! I thought I was brilliant but I'll let you BEE the judge ;)

To bring the gold foil to the inside of the card, I added a little gold strip of paper as an accent.

We used a black marker to get the You'd seperate from the rest of the saying.

This card also has a black card base (just like a larger mat) and then the Smokey Slate is the card opening. This way I didn't need to add a lighter color to the black card base for my stamping.

For the front saying, dimension was the name of the game. I used white flax ribbon and colored it with the Smokey Slate Blends. The saying was heat embossed in white on black cardstock, punched out and layered on another punched inmage in gold foil. And then POPPED up over the flax ribbon.

WOWZERS! That's a cool card ;)
