Oh my gosh...wow. It's certainly been a while since I posted on my blog. What can I say?!? I was in the groove and then got busy with my OnStage presentation and my blog just didn't come up. And when you don't do it frequently, you don't make it a habit. :(
Well I'm back...and I'm doing my first ever BLOG HOP!
The hop is for our new In Colors! I am showcasing Rococo Rose. This is such an amazing "pink" hue. It's between a true pink and a dusty mauve color. I love how smooth it looks.
I paired it with Basic Gray and Smoky Slate. I like to showcase how you can go from a #simplestamping card to an advanced stamper.
In the first sample, I used the stamp set, Floral Essence, and the three colors of ink. Everything is stamped on a thick white card base. This showcases the stamp set so well and of course...simple :)
The middle sample we use the same ink colors: Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, and Rococo Rose. I've added a couple punches and ribbon along with some layers on the card. To add a little bling, I used silver foil as a layer with the circle punches. You can't tell in the picture, but I did add wink of stella as well to the center of the flowers.
And lastely, the Advanced Stamper. With this awesome card, the center of the flowers are heat embossed with Silver. This brings out the silver on the edged ribbon as well. I cut out a circle using the Stitched Dies and popped that up in the middle of the card. The hardest part of this card was to stamp the saying in the middle and then adding the floral images around the sentiment.
Well I hope you enjoyed my In Color presentation for Rococo Rose. Please visit the other blogs! The next Blog is Holly with Terracotta Tile! Have a great day :)
