Just Because

Why?  Just because!  There is no reason why not!  Just because you want to, right?!?  Sometimes we need to be in the craft room....just because.  And sometimes we need to send cards to our friends...just because.  This card is so versatile.  You can do anything you want to...just because!

This card was made for a shoebox swap I participated in at Convention in Salt Lake City.  My friend and I both attended.  She created a card where we needed to cut the butterfly out.  I thought...what are we going to do with 42 butterflies?  WHY...USE THEM, of course.  So I created a card using the butterfly cutout.  LOVE IT!  It's so simple.

You are Stronger...

Sometimes you make cards depending on the mood you're in.  This one definitely hit home.  I remember when I was creating this that I was feeling down and out.  I just got done working 12 days in a row and was just feeling wiped out but wanted some me time in the craft room.

Besides the feeling I get when I look back at this card I love it for several more reasons.

1)  The saying is AWESOME!  Heartfelt SympathyYou can use this sentiment several different ways.  Someone who received bad news, a lost loved one, a celebration of a battle won, or just making it through another day.  We are all a little stronger than we think especially in the tough times.

2)  The colors...I don't usually use pastel hues but I think they really pulled together.  The new Mint Macaron is awesome...well the whole new 2015-2017 In Color Collection is awesome!  I paired it with Wisteria Wonder and Blushing Bride.

3) The Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder is wonderful.  This alone should make you want it all the time.  It's great for male, female, unisex, and everyone cards!!!  Just get it!
